Throughout my teaching career I regularly exhibited with the Central Arts Group.
My work has been purchased by private collectors and The Smith Institute, Stirling purchased a landscape painting for their collection
For me painting is a journey of investigation and discovery. I enjoy experimenting with media and techniques and through landscape study, in particular the effects of light that occur in season and climate changes, I have found an endless source of inspiration and exciting imagery.

- 1968 – 1972 Attended Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art Dundee.
- 1973 – 2007 Taught Art and Design, Stirling High School.
- 2004 – 2008 Co-organiser of ‘The Burn’ residential painting course, Edzel.
- 1989 - Principal of the Dollar Summer School in the Arts.
- Sept. 2007 Joint exhibition at Botanical Gardens, Glasgow.
- March 2008 Cancer Research exhibition, Dundee.
