John Auldjo studied Graphic and Textile Design at Grays School of Art under George Mackie and Malcolm McCoig. He graduated in 1968.
Through out his professional life as a teacher of art, John has shown in exhibitions in
Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Stirling.
John works in a number of medium, often in ink and water colour, using both in a painting to achieve the desired and unique effects to convey light and textures in his chosen subjects.
John has worked mainly to commission and seldom exhibits with galleries. As he is the father of one of the UNIONgallery directors, we are delighted to be able to show some
of his paintings.
For private collections, John has painted water colour landscapes as well as studies of fish, birds and animals.
