Stewart Bremner is an abstract artist from Edinburgh Scotland, who has been painting for over ten years. His work uses colour and form to explore themes of freedom, surrender, release and growth.
“I seek to find a home in my art for my chaotic desires, to utilise that wild and creative energy towards a useful end. Through years of practice, of talking and thinking about my art, I have slowly harnessed some of that tumultuous drive to create my own language of abstract painting.
“Each of my paintings is a statement of my reality at the moment of creation, they pin down moments in time that would otherwise be lost. By working in this manner, I become more self aware and better able to express myself. My work allows me to exist in the now.
